SCSI 2 Fast Wide Internal SCSI Cables
SCSI 2 internal cables are relics but are keeping many devices running smoothly. We use Hitachi Cable and Molex connectors to assemble our internal 50 pin SCSI-2 cables. Cable is also available in Teflon upon request. All cables are tested for quality assurance and reliability using CIRRIS Signature testing equipment. Each termination is tested then the entire assembly is tested before packaging
We assemble these per customer's specifications. We need the distance from the controller to the first device and each device after. These are no longer stocked. We still install internal Centronic 50 pin connectors on ribbon cable.
This is Hitachi's 50 pin Quick Twist Cable. Great for older SCSI systems that are really crowded. We can enclose the gap between connectors with a nylon braid to keep it really neat. This has a span of about 19" between connectors. We have made a lot of these in just 2 connectors for connecting a CD or other internal 50 pin device. These are usually sleeved with expandable braid to create a rounded cable.
MQT-Series
50 pin IDC internal female connector laced to a 50 pin HD external female connector. This is useful if you need a loopback cable to connect to external advices when you have an onboard controller. These are pre-assembled in 16" lengths. Some available in 18" lengths.
