Our LC fiber optic cable production facility is well equipped with Micro Enterprise's video microscope and monitor for easy detection of scratches, cracks, dirt and any other undesirable conditions during production. ME2503 and ME8800 Video Microscopes are used for final inspection. EFD's epoxy dispensing system assures the correct amount of epoxy to the ferrule tip. LC fiber optic cable preparation is accomplished using Schleuniger's 7030 and 7035 stripping tools. Polishing of the ceramic ferrules is done on a Seikoh Geiken polisher and US Conec's polisher using Angstrom and 3M polish film utilizing a high quality polishing method. Final testing for quality and assurance is completed using EXFO'S Intelligent Test Systems and JDS Uniphase multichannel backreflection meter. Cleaning the LC connector is accomplished with Westover Scientific's CleanBlast patchcord cleaning system. This technology combined with highly skilled technicians, enables us to produce high quality fiber optic cable assemblies. Soon we will be assembling US Conec's MTP connectors terminated to Corning's Infinicor SX Plus ribbon cable. Corning Fiber is used on all of our LC Fiber Optic cables. 10GB Fiber Optic Cables are SUN compliant and are assembled with Corning's Infinicor SX+ fiber optic cable. |
